I understand what you are saying. I'm early 40s, feel and look 27 and just found out I'm going to be a grandmother for the first time. Yet, I long for another baby.

That's funny about 27 -- do all of us feel frozen at that age? That's the age I would pick for me, too.

You're not crazy!!!! I have a 19 year old and a toddler. I always get this question-why'd you wait so long.
Well, I feel truly blessed that after I suffered fibroids, one doc told me i HAD TO HAVE a hysterectomy. Thankfully, I met a lady who referred me to the doctor who saved all my baby making parts and three years later, we were blessed with a baby! Tell your friend to think and rethink about closing that door :) And for you....it's never too late!!! :)
